世界地球日—临夏地质公园开展“保护地质遗迹 促进人与自然和谐共生”主题宣传活动

每年的4月22日是世界地球日，是一个专为世界环境保护而设立的节日，旨在提高民众对于现有环境问题的意识，并动员民众参与到环保运动中，通过绿色低碳生活，改善地球的整体环境。
为促进“珍爱地球，人与自然和谐共生”世界地球日主题在临夏地质公园落地生根和充分彰显，推动临夏世界地质公园申报创建各项工作落实落细，4月18日至22日，临夏地质公园服务中心联合各县市申世办，成功举办了为期一周的“保护地质遗迹 促进人与自然和谐共生”系列宣传实践活动。
活动中，临夏地质公园服务中心一行人先后深入临夏市、临夏县、和政县、永靖县，实地踏勘地质遗迹点、人文自然景点70余处，涵盖了临夏地质公园的大部分景点。每到一处，所有人都积极行动，清理景点附近环境卫生，擦拭擦亮地质公园标识标牌，用实际行动践行地球日主题。在临夏地质公园科普社区——钱家村、万兽谷、太极岛园，通过向附近居民、游客等宣讲临夏地质公园相关科普知识和地球日活动主题，发放宣传品，积极引导大家参与到“珍爱地球，人与自然和谐共生”的活动中来，共同扩大临夏地质公园的知名度和美誉度。
作为拟建的世界地质公园，自申报之日起，临夏地质公园就坚持高起点定位、高质量申报、高标准创建的工作要求，按照世界地质公园申报创建标准和要求，精心谋划、强力推进。目前，所有准备工作已完成，只待联合国教科文组织专家进行实地评估。
April 22 of each year is world earth day. It is a festival specially set up for world environmental protection. It aims to raise people's awareness of environmental problems, mobilize people to participate in the environmental protection and improve the overall environment through the way of green and low-carbon life.
In order to promote the World Earth Day theme of "Cherishing the earth and harmonious coexistence between man and nature" and promote the implementation of the application and establishment of Linxia Global Geopark, Linxia Geopark Service Center successfully held a week-long series of publicity and practice activities of "Protecting geoheritages and promoting harmonious coexistence between man and nature" from April 18 to 22.
During the activities, the Linxia Geopark service center staff successively went into Linxia city, Linxia County, Hezheng county and Yongjing County and surveyed more than 70 geological relic sites, cultural and natural scenic spots, covering most of the scenic spots of Linxia Geopark. Everywhere we went, everyone took active action to clean up the environment near the scenic spots, wipe and polish the signs of the Geopark and practice the theme of earth day with practical actions. In the Geopark community of Linxia Geopark - Qianjia village, Wanshou Valley and Taiji Island Park, we publicized the relevant popular science knowledge of Linxia Geopark and the theme of Earth Day activities to nearby residents and tourists, distributed publicity materials and actively guided everyone to participate in the activity of "Cherishing the earth and harmonious coexistence between man and nature", so as to jointly expand the popularity and reputation of Linxia Geopark.
As the aspiring Global Geopark, since the date of application, Linxia Geopark has adhered to the high standard work requirements and made careful planning and strong promotion in accordance with the evaluation standards and requirements of the UNESCO Global Geopark. At present, all preparations have been completed, and only UNESCO experts will conduct on-site evaluation.
