世界博物馆日
1977年国际博物馆协会为促进全球博物馆事业的健康发展，向全世界宣告1977年5月18日为第一个国际博物馆日，并每年为国际博物馆日确定活动主题。
国际博物馆协会（ICOM）确定2022年“5·18国际博物馆日”的主题为“博物馆的力量”（The Power of Museums），并指出21世纪的博物馆拥有巨大的潜力和影响力，可以将世界变得更美好。
临夏地质公园拥有一定数量的、具有深远影响力的博物馆，诸如和政古动物化石博物馆、刘家峡恐龙馆、齐家文化博物馆等，这些博物馆馆藏丰富、各具特色，相关藏品在本领域占有很重要的位置。比如和政古动物化石博物馆内的藏品占据了六项世界之最，即世界上独一无二的和政羊、世界上最大的三趾马化石产地、世界上最丰富的铲齿象化石——铲齿象头骨个体发育系列、世界上最早的第四纪披毛犀头骨化石、世界上最大的真马——埃氏马和世界上最大的鬣狗——巨鬣狗；刘家峡恐龙馆的恐龙足印规模之大、种类之多、保存之完好、清晰度之高、立体感之强、多层面出现，均为世界少有，被中外专家一致赞誉为：“最好的恐龙足印”，具有重要的科学研究和旅游开发价值；齐家文化博物馆是全国唯一以齐家文化命名的专题博物馆,珍藏有我国最早的铜镜，在铜镜发展史上有重要意义，被誉为“中华第一镜”。这些举足轻重的藏品展品是博物馆的生命和灵魂，也是临夏地质公园的重要组成部分。

和政县古动物化石博物馆
5月16日晚，和政县古动物化石博物馆联合和政县肋巴佛革命纪念馆在富强体育广场开展以“博物馆的力量”为主题的文艺汇演活动。
临夏地质公园博物馆
近日，临夏地质公园博物馆接待了来自临夏市、临夏县、和政县部分学校的地质科普研学团约500余人。
临夏州博物馆
5月16日，由临夏州博物馆主办，各县市博物馆协办的“博物馆的力量——保护文物古迹 守护精神家园”专场演出活动在临夏州彩陶馆成功举办。
齐家文化博物馆
5月16日，齐家文化博物馆开展了以“齐家文化”为主题的趣味活动，激发了广大青少年儿童的参与热情和兴趣。

Linxia Geopark has a number of museums with far-reaching influence, such as Hezheng Paleozoological Museum, Liujiaxia Dinosaur Museum, Qijia Culture Museum, etc. These museums have rich collections and different characteristics, and relevant collections occupied a very important position in the field. For example, the collections in the Hezheng Paleozoological Museum occupied the top six world best, that is, the world's unique Hezhengia, the world's largest origin of Hipparion fossils, the world's richest Platybelodon fossils -Platybelodon skull ontogeny series, the world's earliest Quaternary rhinoceros kull fossils, the world's largest Equus - Equus Eisenmannae and the world's largest Hyena - Dinocrocuta gigantea. The dinosaur footprints in Liujiaxia dinosaur museum are rare in the world because of their large scale, many kinds, intact preservation, high definition, strong three-dimensional sense and multi-level appearance. They are praised as "the best dinosaur footprints" by Chinese and foreign experts, and have important scientific research and tourism development value. Qijia Culture Museum is the only special museum named after Qijia culture in China. It has the earliest bronze mirror in China. It is of great significance in the history of bronze mirror development and is known as "The first mirror in China". These important collections are not only the life and soul of the museum, but also an important part of Linxia Geopark.
On the occasion of 2022 International Museum Day, various activities have also been held in Linxia Geopark.
Hezheng Paleozoological Museum
On the evening of May 16, Hezheng Paleozoological Museum,an artistic performance with the theme of "The power of the museums" was held in Fuqiang Sports Square.
Linxia Geopark Museum
Recently, Linxia Geopark Museum received more than 500 geological science popularization research groups from some schools in Linxia city, Linxia county and Hezheng county.
Linxia Prefecture Museum
On May 16, the special performance of "The power of the museums - protecting cultural relics and historic sites and protecting the spiritual home", hosted by Linxia Prefecture Museum and co-organized by county and city museums, was successfully held in Linxia Prefecture Painted Pottery Museum.
Qijia Culture Museum
