申报创建临夏世界地质公园工作推进会议召开

3月7日上午，申报创建临夏世界地质公园工作推进会议召开，州委书记郭鹤立出席并讲话。他强调，要清醒认识申报创建临夏世界地质公园工作面临的严峻紧迫形势，进一步提高政治站位，强化责任担当，对照创建标准和实施方案，严深细实逐项摸排，迅速补齐差距短板，以万全准备和过硬工作迎接评估验收，确保顺利通过、创建成功。
联合国教科文组织世界地质公园评估专家、中国地质科学院地质力学研究所研究员赵志中，北京一彩公司工程技术有限公司副总经理蒋丽伟、设计院院长唐方出席。
郭鹤立指出，自2019年创建工作启动以来，州县两级、相关部门与申报技术支撑单位密切配合、通力协作，做了大量扎实细致的工作，2020年临夏地质公园以综合评分第一的成绩，推荐为向联合国教科文组织报送的世界地质公园申报单位。但受疫情影响，迟滞了创建进程。相关县市和部门单位要从战略和全局的高度，充分认识创建工作的极端重要性，抓住用好迎评前的最后“窗口期”，扎实有序、高质高效推进各环节工作，确保创建取得圆满成功。
郭鹤立强调，临夏世界地质公园创建工作要坚持问题导向、目标导向、结果导向，主动认领反馈问题，抓紧抓实整改工作，全力以赴补短板、强弱项、促提升，按期高质量、高标准完成各项创建任务。要扎实细致做好硬件建设、软件完善工作，加大专业人才和信息化建设，为创建工作提供有力支撑。
赵志中说，临夏有奇特的地质地貌、享誉世界的化石资源、星罗棋布的史前遗迹，创建世界地质公园优势明显。
On the morning of March 7, the promotion conference of application and establishment of Linxia UNESCO Global Geopark was held and Guo Heli, secretary of the CPC Linxia Prefecture Committee, attended and addressed the meeting. He stressed that we should clearly understand the severe and urgent situation faced by the work of application and establishment of Linxia UNESCO Global Geopark ,further improve our political standing, strengthen our responsibility, compare with the establishment standards and implementation plans, strictly and carefully arrange the items one by one, quickly fill the gaps and shortcomings, and meet the assessment and acceptance with all preparations and excellent work to ensure the smooth pass and success of the establishment.
Zhao Zhizhong, an expert in the evaluation of the UNESCO World Geopark and a researcher at the Institute of Geomechanics of the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, Jiang Liwei, the deputy general manager of Beijing Yicai Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., and Tang Fang, the president of the design institute, attended the meeting.
Guo Heli pointed out that since the start of the establishment work in 2019, the relevant departments at the prefecture and county levels have worked closely with and cooperated with the application technical support units, and have done a lot of solid and detailed work. In 2020, Linxia Geopark was recommended as the application unit of the Global Geopark submitted to UNESCO with the No.1 comprehensive score. However, affected by the epidemic, the establishment process was delayed. Relevant counties, city and departments and units should fully understand the importance of the establishment work from the strategic and overall perspective, grasp and make good use of the final "window period" before the evaluation, promote the work in a solid, orderly, high-quality and efficient manner, and ensure the complete success of the establishment.
Guo Heli stressed that the creation of Linxia UNESCO Global Geopark should adhere to the problem-oriented, goal-oriented and results-oriented, actively identify feedback problems, grasp the rectification work and spare no effort to complement the weaknesses, strengths and weaknesses, promote improvement, and complete the construction tasks with high quality and high standards on schedule. We should do a solid and meticulous job in construction and improvement, increase professional talents and information construction, and provide strong support for the creation work.
Zhao Zhizhong said that Linxia has unique geological landforms, world-renowned fossil resources, and scattered prehistoric relics. It has obvious advantages to create a UNESCO Global Geopark.
