该点化石在两个不同层位有发现，其中剖面上部的柳树组中发现三趾马动物群的Hipparion sp.化石，而在剖面底部深度约 202 米的位置，产出有铲齿象动物群中的Platybelodon sp.化石。两个动物群的准确年龄分别是距今 6.27Ma 和 11.12Ma。
Fossils in this site are found in two different layers. In the upper part of the profile, the Hipparion sp. fossil of the hipparion fauna is found in the Liushu Formation. And at the bottom of the profile discovered the fossils of Platybelodon sp. is at a depth of about 202 meters. The exact ages of the two fauna are 6.27 Ma and 11.12 Ma, respectively.
