In order to strengthen the exchange and cooperation between geoparks, Linxia Geopark and Enshi Grand Canyon - Tenglongdong Cave Geopark signed a friendly cooperation agreement in the morning of May 31, and the two parties formally established a sister geopark partnership.

Enshi Grand Canyon - Tenglongdong Cave Geopark is recommended by China as a global Geopark application unit in 2023, and will accept the UNESCO field inspection and evaluation in July this year. The Geopark has a total area of 679.19 square kilometers. It is a large Geopark with geological relics landscape as the main part and karst geomorphology and structural landform type as the core. It preserves the complete sedimentary records of sea and land phase pairs since the early Cambrian period, and is one of the representative areas of subtropical karst landform types in southern China.

The establishment of a sister geopark partnership has effectively set up a platform for exchange and cooperation between the two sides. In the future, we will further strengthen the interaction, exchange and learning, and deepen the exchange and cooperation between the two Geoparks in the protection of geological relics, management and construction, scientific research and popularization, and promotion, so as to complement each other's strengths and weaknesses, hand in hand to win together and jointly promote the sustainable development of both geoparks.
