On the morning of June 18, the Cenozoic Paleontology, Paleoenvironment and Hezheng Paleontological Fossils Symposium on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the 3^rd meeting of the 10th Biological Evolution and Environment Professional Committee of the Chinese Quaternary Science Research Association opened in Hezheng County, Linxia Prefecture. The symposium will focus on these three issues. 1. Discussion on the problem in science related to the Cenozoic stratigraphic paleontology on the late Cenozoic Cenozoic Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, geological structure and paleoenviroment 2. Discussion on Protection and Research of Ancient Mammal Fossils in Hezheng Area. 3. Release of Research Results.
