2023年中国联合国教科文组织世界地质公园年会顺利召开
The 2023 UNESCO Global Geopark Annual Conference in China was successfully held
10月31日，2023年中国联合国教科文组织世界地质公园年会在山东临沂顺利召开。本届年会在国家林业和草原局自然保护地管理司、山东省自然资源厅（林业局）的指导下，由中国地质科学院、国家地质公园网络中心、世界地质公园网络办公室和临沂市人民政府主办，临沂沂蒙山世界地质公园管理局、平邑县人民政府、蒙阴县人民政府共同承办。年会的主题为：交流促进提升、创新引领发展。来自全国五十家世界地质公园和国家地质公园及其主管部门的代表出席了年会。
会上，对中国世界地质公园2023年度工作进行了总结汇报，沂蒙山世界地质公园、天柱山世界地质公园、湘西世界地质公园、龙岩地质公园、临夏地质公园、乐业-凤山地质公园分别就地质公园建设管理、微电影拍摄、合作伙伴、科研科普等方面进行了经验分享。六位专家还就世界地质公园标准及评估关键点、当前地质公园运行中存在的问题及对策、世界地质公园科普解说系统要点、地学旅游的新形式—文艺旅游、地质公园低碳化运营路径实践、世界地质公园与碳中和等方面的内容进行了解读和探讨。
本届年会还进行了中国世界地质公园展和沂蒙山世界地质公园合作伙伴产品展。与会代表期待2024年相聚贵州兴义，期待更多的新成员加入世界地质公园网络，期待我们的世界地质公园大家庭团结、互助、交流、分享，一起取得更多成就。
On October 31st, the 2023 UNESCO Global Geoparks Annual Conference was successfully held in Linyi, Shandong province.
Under the guidance of the Natural Reserve Management Department of the State Forestry and Grassland Administration and the Shandong Provincial Department of Natural Resources (Forestry Bureau), this annual meeting is hosted by the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, the National Geopark Network Center, the Global Geopark Network Office, and the Linyi City People's Government. It is jointly hosted by the Linyi Yimengshan Global Geopark Management Bureau, the Pingyi County People's Government, and the Mengyin County People's Government. The theme of the annual meeting is, communication promotes improvement, innovation leads development. Representatives from 50 global and national geoparks and their regulatory departments across the country attended the annual meeting.
At the meeting, a summary report was made on the work of Global Geoparks in China for the year 2023. Experience was shared on the construction and management of geoparks, microfilm filming, partnerships, and scientific popularization of geological parks in Yimengshan, Tianzhushan, Xiangxi Global Geopark, Longyan Geopark, Linxia Geopark, and Leye Fengshan Geopark. Six experts also interpreted and discussed the key points of global geoparks standards and evaluation, current problems and countermeasures in the operation of geoparks, key points of the Global Geoparks science popularization explanation system, new forms of geoscience tourism - cultural tourism, low-carbon operation path practice of geoparks, Global geoparks and carbon neutrality, and other aspects.
This year's annual meeting also held the China’s Global Geoparks Exhibition and the Yimengshan Global Geopark Products Exhibition. The attending representatives look forward to gathering in Xingyi, Guizhou in 2024, and look forward to more new members joining the Global Geopark Network. We look forward to the unity, mutual assistance, exchange, and sharing of our Global Geopark family to achieve more together.
