Trees, as important ecosystem on Earth, can absorb carbon dioxide, release oxygen, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and combat global warming. Therefore, afforestation activities have profound strategic significance globally and are an important way for humans to actively respond to climate change and achieve sustainable development goals.

In order to further enhance everyone's awareness of ecological civilization of "planting, loving, and protecting green", and actively practice the ecological concept of "Lush mountains and lucid waters are valuable asset". On the morning of March 28th, with the spring breeze of the newly established Global Geopark, Linxia UNESCO Global Geopark organized cadres and employees to carry out the 2024 voluntary tree planting activity.

At the event site, the participants were enthusiastic and full of enthusiasm. Everyone takes their work and cooperates closely, wielding shovels to cultivate soil, supporting seedlings, watering roots, creating a lively scene of labor. After a lot of hard work, each tree seedling takes root in the fertile soil, stands proudly, and radiates a vibrant vitality.

This tree planting activity not only enhanced the awareness of cadres and workers to protect the ecological environment, but also provided participants with a beautiful vision of "one tree leaves spring, eternal youth". It also added some assistance to actively address climate change and achieve low-carbon goals and sustainable ecological development.
