临夏世界地质公园和政古动物化石博物馆讲解员荣获甘肃省2024年自然资源科普讲解大赛二等奖
The Guide of Linxia Global Geopark Hezheng Paleozoological Museum won the second prize
强技能，促提升，为了更好地讲好临夏世界地质公园里的化石故事，传播临夏科普声音。临夏世界地质公园和政古动物化石博物馆讲解员张玉芬参加了甘肃省第三届自然资源科普讲解大赛暨2024年全国自然资源科普讲解大赛选拔赛，并在大赛中荣获二等奖。
比赛中，以和政地区种类繁多的三趾马动物群化石为讲解内容，通过图文、视频的形式为在场的评委和其他参赛选手讲述了1200万年前和政的古地理、古环境、古气候。通过她的讲解，大家感受到了和政地区的物种更替，了解了大自然变化的丰富多彩。
此次比赛，极大的提升了讲解员的讲解水平，也为我们讲好化石故事，干好科普工作注入了新的动力。今后，我们将继续参加各类比赛，找差距，补短板，促提升，打造优质的科普队伍，宣传保护好和政古动物化石。
Good news: The Guide of Linxia Global Geopark Hezheng Paleozoological Museum won the second prize in the 2024 Natural Resources Science Popularization and Explanation Competition in Gansu Province
In order to strengthen skills and promote improvement and better tell the fossils stories in Linxia Global Geopark,we carry out Linxia science popularization. Zhang Yufen, a guide at the Linxia Global Geopark Hezheng Paleozoological Museum, participated in the third natural resource science popularization and explanation competition in Gansu Province and the selection competition of the 2024 National Natural Resource Science Popularization and Explanation Competition, and won the second prize in the competition.
In the competition, the diverse fossils of Hipparion fauna in the Hezheng area were used as the explanation content, and the judges and other guides were told about the ancient geography, environment, and climate of Hezheng 12 million years ago through pictures, texts, and videos. Through her explanation, everyone experienced the species evolvement in Hezheng region and learned about the rich and colorful changes in nature.
This competition has greatly improved the level of explanation of the museum guides and injected new impetus into our efforts to tell fossil stories well and improve science popularization work . In the future, we will continue to participate in various competitions,promote improvement, build a high-quality science popularization team, and promote the protection of ancient animal fossils.
