The Linxia Geopark Museum,as the main window of Linxia UNESCO Global Geopark, is divided into six different themed exhibition halls. It comprehensively and systematically introduces the Geopark, the history of Earth evolution, and other geoscience knowledge. It showcases precious geoheritages, cultural resources, natural resources, animal and plant resources, as well as the development process of the Linxia UNESCO Global Geopark. The museum is equipped with a digital electronic sand table, a large LED screen, an immersive experience area, an AR interactive query screen, and a children's science popularization experience area.

The Linxia Geopark Museum actively plays the role of science popularization education, strengthens cooperation between museums and schools, and regularly carries out science popularization and research activities for primary and secondary school students, opening a window for children to explore the world. From dinosaur footprints in the Cretaceous period to fossils of the four major faunas of late Cenozoic mammals, from the evolution of Danxia land forms to the landscape of the Yellow River Three Gorges, from numerous ancient human cultural sites left by ancient ancestors to the world cultural heritage of the Bingling Cave Temple, and from the painted pottery culture of Majiayao to the continuation of the Qijia culture, the Linxia UNESCO Global Geopark is using its precious geoheritages and rich cultural heritages to nourish the hearts of children, sharing them with a feast of knowledge.
