2024年中国世界地质公园年会暨世界地质公园网络20周年研讨会开幕
The 2024 China Annual Conference of UNESCO Global Geoparks and 20 Years Anniversary Symposium of UNESCO Global Geoparks Network are officially opened in Xingyi，Guizhou Province
9月23日，2024年中国世界地质公园年会暨世界地质公园网络20周年研讨会在黔西南州兴义市正式开幕。
大会邀请了来自国内六位地质相关专家，聚焦地质公园建设、地质遗迹价值发掘、地质多样性与可持续发展、古生物等领域，进行学术经验分享。同时，活动现场围绕中国世界地质公园的多元价值与全球影响展开深入讨论，来自全国47家世界地质公园代表、高等院校专家等共150名嘉宾参加。同时举行了兴义世界地质公园“开园揭碑”仪式。
临夏世界地质公园参加了本次年会，会上工作人员分别从临夏世界地质公园资源优势、申报历程及科普宣传教育等方面将临夏世界地质公园内丰富多样的地质遗迹、壮丽秀美的自然风光以及璀璨厚重的历史人文宣传展示给大家。
此外，现场还宣读了《中国世界地质公园发展建设20周年—兴义宣言》，共同探寻地球奥秘，共创和谐未来，并向下一届中国世界地质公园年会举办方江西省武功山世界地质公园授旗。

carried on the diverse values and global impact of Global
geoparks of China on site, with 150 representatives from
47 Global geoparks across the country and experts from
Universities. At the same time, the opening ceremony of
Xingyi UNESCO Global Geopark was held.
The representatives from Linxia UNESCO Global Geopark participated in this annualConference. They showed the rich and diverse geological relics, magnificent natural scenery and
splendid historical and cultural heritages on the perspectives of resource advantages, application process, and science
popularization education in a presentation during the
conference.
In addition, the "Xingyi Declaration,the 20th Anniversary
of Development and Construction of China Global Geoparks " was read out on site, jointly exploring the mysteries of the earth, creating a harmonious future. Finally the flag was handed to the host ofnext China Global Geopark Annual Conference
, Wugongshan Global Geopark of Jiangxi Province.
