2025年3月26日下午，甘肃省地矿局第一地质矿产勘查院与临夏地质公园服务中心签订合作框架协议。双方围绕地质科研、资源保护、科普教育及文旅融合等领域达成深度合作意向，标志着临夏世界地质公园在推动地质资源可持续开发与科学价值转化上迈出关键一步。
根据协议，双方将以市场需求为导向、以技术服务为依托，发挥各自优势，进一步推动地质公园地质遗迹保护与科学开发，提升区域地质技术应用水平，特别是在旅游地质、地质遗迹资源调查评价、科研科普、业务咨询指导、项目申报、地质灾害防治、环境地质、地理信息系统服务等方面的合作，将助力临夏世界地质公园高质量发展，助推临夏‘地质经济’与生态文明建设双赢。
On the afternoon of March 26, 2025, the First Geological and Mineral Exploration Institute of Gansu Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources signed a cooperation framework agreement with the Linxia Geological Park Service Center. The two parties reached a consensus on in-depth collaboration in fields such as geological research, resource conservation, science education, and cultural-tourism integration, marking a critical step forward for the Linxia UNESCO Global Geopark in promoting sustainable development and scientific value transformation of geological resources.
Under the agreement, the partners will leverage their respective strengths, guided by market demand and supported by technical services, to advance the protection and scientific utilization of geoheritage within the geopark. Key collaboration areas include:Tourism geology and geoheritage resource investigation/evaluation;Scientific research, popularization, and consultancy services;Project applications, geological hazard prevention, and environmental geology;Geographic information system (GIS) services.
This partnership aims to drive high-quality development of the geopark, fostering a win-win scenario for Linxia’s "geological economy" and ecological civilization construction
