龙虎山风景名胜区位于江西鹰潭市，距市中心18公里，由仙水岩、龙虎山、上清宫、洪五湖、马祖岩和应天山等六大景区组成，有55个景点、261个景物景观，面积达200平方公里。此外，还包括弋阳龟峰等独立景区(点)，面积40平方公里。龙虎山为中国第八处世界自然遗产，世界地质公园、国家自然文化双遗产地、国家5A级风景名胜区、国家森林公园、国家重点文物保护单位。整个景区面积220平方公里，龙虎山是中国道教的发祥地，其道教圣地、碧水丹山与古崖墓群被誉为“三绝”。龙虎山森林覆盖面积62%，雨量充沛，气候温润，龙虎山景区的空气负离子含量超过正常值15倍，中国国内景点中名列前茅的天然氧吧。
